Red Velvet Mug Cake is a magical chocolate cake with a bright fun colour and it was my first bake microwave Mug cake.A mug cake is the perfect pick me up and just take 5 minutes from start to finish.So last week when I was carving chocolate cake,I thought I'd give Mug cake a shot and it was pretty tasty and totally delicious and has the perfect sponge.
Ingredients:
- All purpose flour-4ts
- Sugar-2 ts
- Cocoa powder-1 1/2 ts
- Baking powder-1/4 ts
- Baking soda-1/8 ts
- Curd-2 ts
- Milk-4ts
- Veg oil-2 ts
- White vinegar-1/8 ts
- Vanilla essence-1 ts
- Red food colour-1/2 ts
Procedure:
- Combine all Mug cake ingredients into an microwave safe Mug.Mix with a small whisk until batter is smooth.
- Cook it in microwave for about 1-2 minutes.Don't over cook.
- Let cake cool completely.while waiting Make cream cheese frosting by combining 1oz cream cheese with 1oz butter with some sugar in a mixing bowl and whisk on high speed until frosting is light and fluffy.
- Put it over Mug cake and enjoy immediately.
