Kacchey Aam Ki Chutney/Raw Mango Dip
There is quite nothing like favourite dish from your childhood...Kacchey Aam Ki Chutney is my most loved tangy dip and even I love raw mangoes a lot...My favourite way to eat raw mango as a kid Sprinkle some salt and red chilli powder and sneak in a bite...It's divine......My Nani makes this raw mango chutney with mint & coriander leaves and tastes yumm!!It is a fine balance of sour-salty-spicy.
I am having hankering for this chutney from couple of days So tried my hands on it .It can be made without any hassles just grind the ingredients & it will be ready.So today I am sharing my Nani trademark recipe ,do take a note of it and make at your home & relish this yummy chutney and feel more joyous!! As I' m busy licking my fingers only in " Nia's mommy food trail "......So hurry and try it out...
Ingredients:
- Raw mango-1 med size
- Coriander leaves-1/2 cup
- Mint leaves-1/2 cup
- Green chilli-2
- Cumin seeds-1 ts
- Sugar-1/4 ts
- Salt to taste
Procedure:
- Take all ingredients in a blender and blend to a smooth purée.Add just 3or4 ts water if required.
- Transfer the chutney in an airtight container and store in fridge for up to a week.
