Pink Velvet Cupcake With Butter Cream Frosting

These cupcakes are wonderfully sweet & buttery and are frosted with lovely buttercream.Cupcakes always seemed a little intimidating to me & when I came across this pink velvet cupcake recipe,I knew they needed to happen in my kitchen & so!!My little daughter loves all things pink so for her sake I made this cupcake:) These cupcakes are adorable and delicious too!!

Ingredients:

  1. All purpose flour-1 1/2 cup
  2. Baking soda-1/2 ts
  3. Baking powder- 1 ts
  4. Powdered sugar-3/4 cup
  5. Buttermilk-3/4 cup
  6. Butter-1/2 cup
  7. Vanilla essence-1 ts
  8. Pink food colour-1 ts 

Procedure:

  • Preheat oven to 180'c and Grease the baking tin.
  • Beat the sugar and buttermilk until the sugar is completely dissolved.
  • Add vegetable oil & vanilla essencepink food colour  and mix well.
  • In another bowl sift all dry ingredients and give it a quick mix.
  • Now slowly sifted flour into wet ingredients and whip it until mixture is lump free and smooth.
  • Bake for 15 -18 minutes at 180'cand cool it completely.
  • To make frosting: In a bowl beat the butter till it smooth,Add sugar and mixwell.Slowly Add whipped cream and stir until it is well mixed.
  • Frost the cupcakes as desired.
