Pink Velvet Cupcake With Butter Cream Frosting
These cupcakes are wonderfully sweet & buttery and are frosted with lovely buttercream.Cupcakes always seemed a little intimidating to me & when I came across this pink velvet cupcake recipe,I knew they needed to happen in my kitchen & so!!My little daughter loves all things pink so for her sake I made this cupcake:) These cupcakes are adorable and delicious too!!
Ingredients:
- All purpose flour-1 1/2 cup
- Baking soda-1/2 ts
- Baking powder- 1 ts
- Powdered sugar-3/4 cup
- Buttermilk-3/4 cup
- Butter-1/2 cup
- Vanilla essence-1 ts
- Pink food colour-1 ts
Procedure:
- Preheat oven to 180'c and Grease the baking tin.
- Beat the sugar and buttermilk until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- Add vegetable oil & vanilla essencepink food colour and mix well.
- In another bowl sift all dry ingredients and give it a quick mix.
- Now slowly sifted flour into wet ingredients and whip it until mixture is lump free and smooth.
- Bake for 15 -18 minutes at 180'cand cool it completely.
- To make frosting: In a bowl beat the butter till it smooth,Add sugar and mixwell.Slowly Add whipped cream and stir until it is well mixed.
- Frost the cupcakes as desired.
