Beetroot Raita is a easy, quick and flavorful and very colourful Raita which we can prepare in jiffy.This colourful looking Raita can be serve with any rice,Paratha etc.I am always fascinated to see the baby pink colour when beetroot is mixed with anything and I love any recipe with beetroots either patties or raita.Beetroot is good for everything from your tummy to your skin your heart so much so that it has been categorized as super food.While I was expecting I really wanted to include beetroot in my diet that's why I tried this Raita and it turned out very nice and I have it all my praegnancy since then very often:)So enough talking now let's jump to the recipe directly......
Ingredients:
- Curd -1 1/2 cup
- Grated beetroot-3/4 cup
- Potato-1 small size
- green chillies-1 ts
Procedure:
- Boil potatoes and beetroot till half cook.Peel and grate beetroot and potato.
- In a mixing bowl take beaten curd,Add grated beetroot,potato,chopped green chillies,roasted cumin powder,chaat masala ,salt and mix well.
- Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and Serve chillled.
