Peanut chaat is a very delicious,healthy and perfect teatime treat packed with proteins.It's tangy and spicy as it is roasted that gives an amazing flavor that makes us grab it more and more.This masala peanut Chaat is not just quick but also gives you a kick on your plate.I tested this yumlitious chaat first time in Manali in our hotel where we stayed and I love it .....it was super delicious and though I was highly tempted to try it out there so during our stay,I ordered this several times.My first thought after reaching home was if not possible everytime at Manali,why not make it at home So I added it to my try list.I made this chaat little bit spicy...you can also drizzle some green or sweet chutney and also add sev or potatoes..Use your imagination and add toppings....Make crispy& crunchy chaat and enjoyyyy....
Ingredients:
- Peanuts-1 cup
- Chopped onions-1/4 cup
- Chopped tomatoes-1/4 cup
- Chopped cucumber-1/4 cup
- Lemon juice-1/2 ts
- Chopped green chillies-1/2 ts
- Chopped coriander leaves-1 ts
- Chaat Masala-1ts
Procedure:
- Heat oil in a kadai and add turmeric powder,salt & immediately add the peanuts and toss well & roast for 2-3 minutes.Don't let it get burnt.
- Transfer it to a mixing bowl and add chopped onions,tomatoes,cucumbers,green chillies and chopped coriander leaves.Mix well,add chaat masala ,little bit red chilli powder and lemon juice.
- Mix well and served immediately otherwise it will become soggy.
