Healthy And Incredibly Moist & Spiced Carrot cake

This is my favourite carrot cake recipe and it is full of flavour and moist enticingly and has a spiced & nutty touch.It's soft yet dense,bursted with shredded carrots and toasted with walnuts,it's a total classic. Just try this classic cake timely before the winters end & the season of yummy juicy carrots gets over and I m sure you will make it a permanent addition to your collection!!

Ingredients:

  1. All purpose flour -1cup
  2. Baking powder-1 ts
  3. Baking soda-1/2 ts
  4. Pinch of salt 
  5. Grated carrot-1 cup
  6. Yoghurt-1/2 cup
  7. Veg oil-1/2 cop
  8. Sugar-2/3 cup
  9. Milk-2 ts
  10. Walnuts- handful 
  11. Vanilla essence-1 ts
  12. Cinnamon powder-1 ts
  13. Nutmeg powder-1 ts

Procedure:

  • Preheat the oven to 180'cand grease the cake tin.
  • In a wide bowl mix all dry ingredients except sugar.
  • In another bowl mix yoghurt with sugar and Add veg oil & vanilla essence.
  • Mix dry ingredients in this mixture.fold with grated carrots and walnuts and stir in cinnamon powder and nutmeg powder .
  • Pour this batter into prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes.Let it cool completely and serve and enjoy!!!
