Healthy And Incredibly Moist & Spiced Carrot cake
This is my favourite carrot cake recipe and it is full of flavour and moist enticingly and has a spiced & nutty touch.It's soft yet dense,bursted with shredded carrots and toasted with walnuts,it's a total classic. Just try this classic cake timely before the winters end & the season of yummy juicy carrots gets over and I m sure you will make it a permanent addition to your collection!!
Ingredients:
- All purpose flour -1cup
- Baking powder-1 ts
- Baking soda-1/2 ts
- Pinch of salt
- Grated carrot-1 cup
- Yoghurt-1/2 cup
- Veg oil-1/2 cop
- Sugar-2/3 cup
- Milk-2 ts
- Walnuts- handful
- Vanilla essence-1 ts
- Cinnamon powder-1 ts
- Nutmeg powder-1 ts
Procedure:
- Preheat the oven to 180'cand grease the cake tin.
- In a wide bowl mix all dry ingredients except sugar.
- In another bowl mix yoghurt with sugar and Add veg oil & vanilla essence.
- Mix dry ingredients in this mixture.fold with grated carrots and walnuts and stir in cinnamon powder and nutmeg powder .
- Pour this batter into prepared pan and bake for 20-25 minutes.Let it cool completely and serve and enjoy!!!
