Subz Pulao

Pulao is an Indian dish i which rice is cooked with seasoned vegetables.Whenrice teamed up with seasoned vegetables it gives a smooth texture with great taste.......Subz Pulao is a variation of veg Pulao,which is a one pot dish and can be prepared in few minutes.You can prepare this when you are in a hurry and still want to have a full fledged meal......I have prepared subz Pulao on Christmas as we planned to watch a movie  .Hense i have used so many vegetables so my younger brother helped me in chopping vegetables so this delicious Pulao credit goes to him. Well, he is also a foodie like me and most of the times our chat starts and end with some awesome conversations about the food.He always sound nostalgic when it comes to food.......This easy style pulao has everything veggies,rice,spices A few mouthful of this flavorsome pulao with plain yogurt that's all you need to make a complete comfy and cozy meal,A simple yet exotic lunch,I often prepare this and serve it to my family.For me cooking is all about making my family happy No fancy skills are required,So you don't have to be an expert chef to make this awesome pulao at home.This pulao is dangerously addictive,If you try it once you will know what I mean!

Ingredients:

  1. Basmati rice-1 glass
  2. Chopped Potatoes-2
  3. Chopped Capsicum-1
  4. Chopped Carrots-3
  5. Green peas-1/4 cup
  6. Cauliflower florets-1/2 cup
  7. Paneer cubes-1/4 cup
  8. Green beans-1/4 cup

Procedure:

  • Heat oil in a pressure cooker ,Add cinnamon sticks,cardamom green,cloves,bay leaf and cumin seeds and sauté for a while.
  • Add chopped onions and fry till light brown.
  • Add all the chopped vegetables expect paneer and green peas and fry it for 4-5 minutes on medium flame.
  • Add washed and soaked rice with 2 glass water and add salt and crushed black pepper according to taste.Stir and add paneer cubes and green peas .
  • Pressure cook for 1 whistle.serve hot with Raita/curd and enjoy !!!
