Paan Khajur Roll /Dates Nuts Roll
Paan Khajur Roll is a very healthy,delicious,sugarfree,diabetic friendly & easy to make Indian sweet dish.I have seen this sweets in all the famous shops.Although I am not a big fan of dates but still I like the taste of this sweets.When I was thinking about some healthy sweets this Khajur roll flashed in my mind.
Trust me making Khajur roll at home,hardly takes anytime and tastewise awesome and perfect!!Orignally this roll is coated by poppy seeds but In this recipe I used powdered nuts to coat the rolls....Actually this is my way of fancying up my favourite dish by coating with nuts...Hope you guys like this.....Here goes the recipe..
Ingredients:
- Dates-1 cup
- Finely chopped almonds-1/4 cup
- Finely chopped cashew-1/4 cup
- Gulkand -1 ts
- Ghee-1 ts
Procedure:
- Chop the dates and nuts finely.Heat ghee in a kadai,Add chopped dates and cook for 5-10 minutes until the mixture becomes lumpy.
- Then add milk and mix well.Add gulkand and finely chopped nuts and mix well.Turn off the flame and let it cool for 5 minutes.

- Apply some ghee on your palms and shape it into a log.Roll the mixture over powdered nuts and let it set for 20 minutes in the fridge.
- Cut it into the round circle and serve.
