Besan Wali Bharawan Mirchi

This is a famous side dish of Rajasthan, as you all know chillies are grown in Rajasthan in mass,so you will see all kinds of green chillies preparation in the cuisine:) I hope you like the preparation of this stuffed chillies and let me asssure you it is not as hot as it may sound because we are descending the chillies completely.

Ingredients:

  1. Big green chillies-6 piece
  2. Besan / gram flour-1/2 cup
  3. Fennel seeds-1 ts
  4. Mustard seeds-1 ts
  5. Mustard oil-4 ts

Procedure:

  • Roast besan to light brown in a pan .Heat oil in a pan,Add mustard seeds,fennel seeds ,turmeric powder, salt,dry amchur powder,Garam masala,roasted besan and sauté for a while.Turn off the flame.

  • Slit green chillies from the middle,Apply little salt on the chillies.Now stuff the chillies with roasted besan mixture.
  • On a low flame heat oil in a pan.Slowly add stuffed chillies in it one by one.Keep them covered for 3-4 minutes and then remove the cover and shallow fry them till they are done.
