Colourful Beetroot Kebabs

Kebabs are one of the popular appetiser on an Indian menu ,Fried or not who cares they are absolutely tempting and we all relish them to core.There are couples of ways you can make Kebabs...Bake them deep fry or shallow fry....Beetroot a colourful veggie which gives awesome colour and nutritional value when added.
I have been trying different ways to include it in my diet !This time I choose to make Kebabs with beetroots. Beetroot Kebabs are easy,delicious and healthy snacks for teatime.

Ingredients :

  1. Beetroot-2 large size
  2. Potatoes-2 large size
  3. Chopped ginger and green chilli-1ts
  4. Corn flour-1ts
  5. Oil-3ts

Procedure:

  • In a pressure cooker boil potatoes and beetroot with some salt.Mash boiled potatoes and beetroot in a bowl.Add chopped ginger and green chilli and coriander leaves.Mix spices(black salt,red chilli powder,coriander powder,dry amchur powder and salt).
  • Mix everything well and now shape them into round tikis.Place some corn flour in a plate and coat the petties from both sides.
  • Take a nonstick tawa and fry the Kebabs till they are crisps and light brown in colour.

  • Serve hot with zesty green chutney.
