Classic Pineapple Upside Down Cake

A little sweet, A little tangy pineapple cake is like a mouthful of warmth & sweet love and perfect for any special occasions .This is my favourite recipe for homemade classic pineapple upside down cake.Super moist and full of flavour!!! You can also use apple,pears or peaches as a substitute!!What I love most about it that Not only does it look good ,it's also every bit as pleasing to the taste buds as it is easy on the eye.This cake is without the shadow of a doubt a true stunner,one of those cake that you want to bake for your special one...




Ingredients:

  1. Pineapple slices-5-7round shape
  2. All purpose flour-1cup
  3. Butter-1/2cup
  4. Sugar-3/4cup
  5. Curd-3ts
  6. Olive oil-1/3cup
  7. Vanilla essence-1ts
  8. Baking powder-1ts
  9. Baking soda-1/2ts
  10. Milk-6-

Procedure:

  • Preheat the oven to 180'c and grease the mould.
  • Take a pan & add sugar and little water to this.stir continuously for 4-5minutes.Then add pineapple slices &sauté for 3-4minutes.Cool it & keep aside.
  • Combine sugar & butter in a bowl,beat at medium speed.Add curd &vanilla essence.Beat continuously until well mixed.
  • Combine flour,baking powder,baking soda in a bowl.
  • Gradually add this flour mixture alternately with milk beating at low speed & scraping bowl after each edition.
  • Arrange pineapple slices in the mould.Place cherry in centre.
  • Gently spread batter over pineapple slices.
  • Bake for 35 minutes.Cool completely.
  • Invert cake into serving plate.
