Crispy And Creamy Glazed Doughnuts

Let me begin this post by saying how excited I am to share this my very first bake homemade doughnut recipe with you.What can I say doughnuts are Crusty ,puffy and soggy either covered with sugar or cinnamon or glazed with chocolates, are always attractive and tempting dessert and treat to all sweet lovers.Homemade doughnuts are a bit of a project but they require less work than you might think and the result is truly great hot,crisp doughnut.


Ingredients:

  1. Butter-1/2cup
  2. Sugar-3/4cup
  3. All purpose flour-2 1/4cup
  4. Baking powder-1ts
  5. Warm milk-1/8cup
  6. Fresh yeast-2ts
  7. Buttermilk-2ts
  8. Salt-pinch 

Procedure:

  • Take all purpose flour into a bowl,add baking powder and salt,mix well.
  • Take butter and sugar in another bowl and whisk well.Add activated dry yeast(dissolve yeast and little bit sugar into warm water and rest for few minutes until you see bubbles forming)and buttermilk and mix well.
  • Combine dry and wet ingredients. Knead a soft dough by adding warm milk.Setaside till the dough rises.
  • Dusk the kitchen surface with the flour and turn the dough on it.
  • Roll the dough into 1/2inch thickness circle and cut into doughnut shape.
  • Preheat the oven to 200'c.
  • Bake the doughnut for 10-15 minutes till golden brown.
  • For Chocolate Glaze -: take melted dark chocolate in a bowl.Dip the doughnut in it till well coated and then sprinkle sugar coated fennel seeds over them and transfer into a serving plate.
  • For Sugar Glaze-: brushed the doughnut with some softened butter and sprinkle powdered sugar over doughnut with a sieve.
