Bread uttapam also known as Semolina Toast is a delicious breakfast dish which is instant and easy to make.In this dish bread is the main ingredient so it is called Bread Uttapam.I prefer making this in a nonstick tawa so I can use less oil & In this recipe I am using milk & malai instead of curd.
It's a very basic recipe prepared with minimal ingredients but feel free to improvise as per one's taste.I like to make this in round shape as it looks cute and my little one also like it but because of morning hastle if I am unable to make all in round shape then I make some in triangle shape and it's so tasty and yummy that my cutie eat it plain too:) Give a try this recipe and share your experience with me....
Ingredients:
- Bread-5-6slices
- Sooji/semolina-1cup
- Milk or curd-1/4cup
- Malai-2ts
- Onion-1chopped
- Tomatoe-1chopped
- Capsicum-1chopped
Procedure:
- In a bowl take sooji in a bowl and add mustard seeds,crushed black pepper,salt and mix well.Then add chopped onion, tomatoes, capsicum and green chillies in the batter.
- Now add curd and Mix well add little water if required.

- Heat a nonstick tawa.Take a bread slice cut in round shape or triangle shape & spread a layer of sooji batter on the bread.
- Now grease the tawa with oil and place the bread slice on the tawa. Coolk on the medium to low heat.Now flip the bread carefully & cook from other side until crisp.
- Delicious bread uttapam is ready and you can serve this with chutney or tomato ketchup.
