Pudina paratha /Mint Paratha

Paratha is one dish in which we can add lots of  variations and  filling.Today I would like to put Pudina Paratha-A very simple and delicious.....Such a healthy dish with wonderful aroma ...I am sure it will invite your loved one to dining.This irresistible recipe of stuffed mint Paratha is prepared by mixing the chopped mint leaves into the wheat flour along with flavourful spices while preparing the dough.This Hot and refreshing parathas from the  griddle are always mouth watering and loved by my family.Here is my version of mint Parathas...


Ingredients:

  1. Whole wheat flour-1 cup
  2. Fresh mint leaves-1 cup
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Red chilli powder-1/4 ts
  5. Garam masala-1/4 ts
  6. Ghee-as required

Procedure:

  • Take wheat flour in a large mixing bowl.Add finely chopped mint leaves,salt,red chilli powder,Garam masala and 1ts ghee and mix together.Add enough water and knead the dough for Paratha.
  • Take a ball of dough and roll on a rolling pin,Apply some ghee and fold then roll again into 4-5inch circle.
  • Heat a tawa and place the rolled Paratha on the tawa and roast the paratha by using ghee until it turns golden brown from both the sides.
  • Serve hot with pickles and yoghurt.
