Chocolate Mini Tarts With Espresso

I have been dreaming about making a homemade chocolate tart from long time.So when I spotted a recipe for this tart baking it right away was the only option.Chocolate makes everything better..And in this case not only better but also much prettier.
My chocolate tart has a flaky crust and filled with incredible mixture of chocolate & coffee and topped with beautiful strawberries,So melt in kind that you just can't stop at one piece.I am telling you it is totally insane and dangerously addictive.Be warned you will have a hard time staying away...I 'm hopping that you love eating this chocolaty tart and love cooking already and will soon start enjoying it...with much love from "Nia's mommy food trail"....

Ingredients:

  1. All purpose flour-1 cup
  2. Powdered Sugar-3 ts
  3. Butter-1/2 cup chillled 
  4. Oil-1 ts
  5. Water-3 ts chillled 
  6. Milk-1 cup
  7. Salted butter-1 1/2 ts
  8. Coffee powder-2 ts
  9. Grated chocolate-1/2 cup
  10. Corn starch-3 ts
  11. Granulated Sugar-3 ts

Procedure:

  • Take all purpose flour,powdered sugar butter oil and chilled water in a bowl.Just bind together and make a smooth dough.Don't over knead and put it in the fridge.

  • Once the crust is chilled roll it out into the size to fit a mini tart pan.Place the pie crust into the tart pan.Preheat the oven to190'c and bake the pie crust for 12to15 minutes & allow it to cool.
  • For making filling,First take milk in a saucepan &abolished it over medium heat.Mix coffee powder and corn starch in cold milk then addd to the saucepan.
  • Melt chocolate by double boiler method with butter and mix this to the saucepan and also add sugar to the pan.Keep stirring continuously until the mixture becomes glossy and smooth.switchoff the flame and Setaside to cool completely.
  • Pour this mixture into cooled tart and put into the fridge for at least 2 hours.
  • Top with fresh strawberries and dust with icing sugar before serving this cool dessert.
