Palakcorn is a Popular classic North Indian home style curry,healthy, full of nutrients and packed with all the spicy flavour and Of course Yumm...This curry is a true classic that every one can love....Spinach makes a colourful and flavour some companion with corn.This is one of my favourite combination.The sweetness of corn goes well with the slight bland taste of spinach and Adding gram flour and butter gives this curry a thickening and rich flavour.Mmmm,It was Rich,It was creamy It was buttery and it was spicy too.
All I can say that This creamy texture curry is perfect for dinner or lunch and It can be eaten with any flat bread or rice.Let's learn how I prepare this spicy flavourful curry......
Ingredients:
- Chopped spinach-2 cup
- Sweet corn-1/2cup
- Chopped onion-1 large size
- Malai-1ts
- Besan/gram flour -1ts
- Garam masala-1/2ts
Procedure:
- Wash and Boil spinach with some water and grind it into a mixer to get smooth paste and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a kadai,Add cumin seeds when seeds began to crackle add chopped onions & sauté till golden brown.Add spices(red chilli powder,turmeric powder ,coriander powder ,salt& garam masala) and cook for one minute.Add prepared spinach purée& cook for some minutes.
- Mix 1ts besan in water and add to the pan.Add sweet corn and cook for 4-5 minutes.
- Add malai& mix well. Switchoff the flame and serve hot.
