Badam Ka Halwa / Almond Halwa

Ingredient:

  1. Blanched Almonds-1 cup
  2. Whole milk-1 cup
  3. Ghee-1/4 cup
  4. Sugar-1/2 cup
  5. Cardamom powder-1/4 ts

Procedure:

  • Take the blanched Almonds and little milk In a food processor and grind it to a coarse paste.
  • Take a kadai or nonstick pan,Add ghee.
  • Add almond mixture and remaining milk.Cook the mixture in medium heat for 10-15 minutes stirring all the while to avoid sticking to the bottom.
  • Now add sugar & cardamom powder and cook for 4-5 minutes till ghee separates or if needed you can also add some more milk to get the desired consistency.
  • Switchoff the flame and serve hot and garnish with chopped almonds.
