Corn Rawa Upma With Vegetables

Healthy morning starts with a healthy breakfast that keeps our tummy light and our body energised.Corn rawa upma is definitely my favourite way to start the morning on a healthy note....I love breakfast that fill you up without making you feel bloated...It is very important to have a fresh and nutritious breakfast...Corn rawa upma is a super quick,extremely light and highly nutritious breakfast and addition of vegetables makes it super nutritious.You can mix number of vegetables to this dish no matter what ,it always tastes great.
I had read somewhere breakfast means break your overnight fast and it's so true after a good sleep we need something healthy in the morning so why not nourish it with healthy Upma.My family just love it and my reward is their smiles and clean leaked plates:) so enjoy the healthy and delicious corn rawa upma....,,

Ingredients:

  1. Semolina/ sooji or Rawa -1cup
  2. Corn-1/2 cup
  3. Onion-1 chopped 
  4. Tomato-1 chopped 
  5. Veggies--peas,carrots,green beans
  6. Peanuts-1/4 cup
  7. Rasam powder-1ts

Procedure:

  • Roast semolina in a pan till brown in colour.Heat oil in a pan ,add cumin and mustard seeds when seeds began to crackle,add chopped ginger and green chillies and sauté for a while.
  • Add chopped onion and sauté till turn brown in colour.Add chopped tomatoes ,cook till softened.Then add peanuts,corn, peas, grated carrots,green beans and veggies of your choices .
  • Add salt,rasam powder ,3 cup of water and allow it to boil.Add roasted sooji and cook it on low heat for 5-7 minutes.Switchoff the flame.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
