Coconut laddoos are a rich and classic Indian traditional sweet that you would find in every part of India and these laddoos are quick and easy fix for your sweet cravings.These easy to make traditional laddoo need just 3 ingredients ,fresh coconut sugar and milk and you can give your personal touch by adding cardamom,saffron or any essence and also give it a richer taste by adding khoya.Anyone,even beginners can try this with ease and Its just comforting,flavourful,coconut-y delicious.....I'm happy to report that the dessert was a hit....Not only it was pretty,It was incredibly fragrant,crispy,crunchy and also soft.....For this recipe I used desiccated coconut but you can use fresh coconut and almonds for garnishing.Be creative when you are feeling fancy and dress it up with your own creations .These laddoos are soft & gooey as soon as you make them and totally fudgy when you refrigerate them and I love them both ways.Try these scrumptious sinful sweet delight to please your sweet cravings and you won't be disappointed....
Ingredients:
- Desiccated coconut-1 cup
- Sugar-1/2cup
- Milk-2-3ts
Procedure:
- Heat a teaspoon of ghee in a Kadhai and add desiccated coconut and sauté for few seconds.
- Slowly add powdered sugar,cardamom powder and mix well.
- Then add milk and cook on low flame for few seconds.Switchoff the flame.
- Cool the mixture for some time.
- Ensure the mixture is warm before shaping it into laddoos.
- Garnish laddoos with almonds.
