Chinese cuisine is most happily adapted in India and In India we call it indochinese food as we have been modified it as per our Indian taste.It is available in most of the food joints and street sides stalls...One such popular indochines recipe is Chilly Paneer......Our desi Indian cottage cheese when combined with Chinese flavour make it absolutely delectable.The saucy sticky gravy with paneer ,onions and green bell peppers gives a perfect blend of Indian and Chinese flavors.It is one of the most popular paneer dish which is full of amazing flavors and It is a most order curry for most of us when we eat outside and It is a melt in mouth and superbly delicious dish. Chill paneer is my all time favourite dish and I make it quite often because this is the only paneer delicacy where my husband finishes off all the pieces alone without any fuss.I made it last week even I am making it today again because any type of paneer curry is my comfort meal..This is not a dry recipe of chilli paneer but the greavy version.You can have this. curry with roti or plain rice or stir fry noodles.I have even tried it as a sandwich filling and it tastes awesome!!!This curry is the best to cook when you have unexpected guests and you have to cook food in jiffy but you still want to impress your guests with something really very exotic and delicious then this curry come to the rescue.So no more craving for Chinese food,wear your apron and let's cook some Chinese dish..Checkout my recipe to make this very famous Chilly Paneer and do share your views on it with me...
Ingredients:
- Paneer-1cup
- Capsicum-2 chopped
- Chopped onion-1medium size
- Chopped tomato-1medium size
- Corn flour-1ts
- Chilli sauté-1ts
- Tomato sauce-1ts
- Soya sauce-1/2ts
Procedure:
- Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and cinnamon sticks.When seeds began to crackle add chopped onion and sauté the onion till light brown in colour.Then add chopped capsicum,Sauté 5-10 minutes until partially cooked.
- Then add chopped tomatoes and sauté till softens.Mix 1ts corn flour with 1/2 cup water in a bowl and stir well and make a lump free liquid.Add this corn flour mixture and a teaspoon of tomato, chilli sauce and 1/2 teaspoon of soya sauce to the pan.
- Pour the mixture into pan and stir till sauce thickens.Add little water and stir well.Add paneer cubes and sauté for 2 minutes.Garnish with chopped spring onions.
